Description
VMS Spot-On Pigment No. 19 Fresh Rust is a light rust colour ideal for reproducing fresh rust effects on metal parts. It is particularly suitable for components such as new mufflers, tracks, vehicle hulls and on-vehicle equipment (OVM).

This shade can be combined with darker rust pigments to add variation and achieve more realistic rust modulation. The colour is quite universal and consistently produces convincing rust effects.

When used on its own, the pigment works best over steel or metallic acrylic base coats such as mufflers, or over standard hull colours to imitate rusty dents, chips and scratches in the paint.

Depending on technique and binder used, different shades, coverage and intensity can be achieved.
