Shipping and delivery policy

For the shipment we use the service of Bpost, but you can also pick up your order at our warehouse, or send it yourself. As a customer, you can choose this yourself during the ordering process.

As we do our best to always offer competitive prices, we always charge the postage costs to the customer.

 

Entered a wrong shipping address? 

Please send an email to info@hobbyexport.com as soon as possible. In some cases we can still change the address before it is processed. But keep in mind that we have a fast processing of orders so this often won't be possible. So be sure to check your delivery address very carefully before proceeding with payment.

 

Tracking your parcel

As soon as your parcel is sent, an automatic e-mail is sent with the track&trace. Please follow this track&trace carefully and contact us immediately in case of any problem (status not updated for a long time, package is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, damage to the package...). We can only complain to our carrier within 30 days after the parcel has been sent in order to obtain compensation. If we are notified by the customer later than this period, unfortunately there is nothing more we can do.

 

Handling of an order

Once we have processed your order, it is immediately packed completely, ready for dispatch. We do this in order to be able to ship the order immediately upon receipt of payment.

Our website is constantly and automatically updated. However, it is always possible that a stock is not correct. When you place an order, this is also an order request. If we notice at the preparation of your order that one (or more) item(s) are not available, they will be removed from the order request. The unavailability of certain items can never be a valid reason to cancel your order, without administrative costs. However, we can discuss ordering another item instead and putting it in the same package, in order to keep the postage costs competitive.

 

Cancellation of an order

When cancelling an order after it has been prepared by us, 10% of the prepared order will be charged as administration costs (costs for payment, refund, credit note, preparation of the goods, packaging of the goods, return of the goods).

Reminder: The absence of certain items can never be a valid reason to cancel your order, without administrative costs.

 

Cancelling a pre-order?

Also when cancelling a pre-order we are forced to charge € 25.00 administration costs. Since this order was taken care of by us, we have incurred payment and invoicing costs.

The waiting time for an item cannot be used to waive the administration fee. When the pre-orders are closed, we pass on our order directly to the supplier (to be sure of our numbers), but we cannot be held responsible for a long(er) waiting time at the supplier, or by the transport companies.

 

Returns are of course possible

Not satisfied with the item? Send us an e-mail (info@hobbyexport.com) within 30 days after purchase. You are of course responsible for the shipping costs. Is the product unused and not damaged? Put it back in the supplied box (or another solid packaging) and return it to us. You will be refunded within 5 working days after receipt of the returned items, in the same way you paid for the order.
