Description
VMS Spot-On Pigment No. 20 Light Fresh Rust is a high-contrast rust shade designed for bright fresh rust effects. If the standard fresh rust colour appears too dark, this brighter tone provides a more vivid alternative.

This pigment represents the brightest iron oxide shade and should therefore be used with restraint. It is particularly suitable for highlighting existing rust layers and enhancing fresh rust effects.

Application by dry-brushing is recommended. It works especially well on components such as mufflers, tracks, hulls and on-vehicle equipment (OVM). When used alone it performs best over steel or metallic acrylic bases or over standard hull colours to imitate rusty dents, chips and scratches.

It can also be combined with darker rust pigments to introduce additional variation and more realistic rust modulation.
