Description
VMS Spot-On Pigment No. 25 Black Steel Metallic is a metallic black pigment designed to replicate the appearance of bare metal on scale models. It can be used both for accentuating edges and details or for covering larger surfaces with a metallic effect.

Unlike many metallic paints, this pigment does not age and has no expiration date. When used together with ENML 2.0 binders the effect can also be reversed or adjusted.

The pigment is ideal for parts such as machine guns, engine blocks, chains, track links, on-vehicle equipment (OVM) and jet exhausts. Dry-brushing is particularly effective for highlighting frequently used hull components such as handles, hatches and edges.

Due to its high efficiency only small amounts are required to achieve convincing metallic highlights.
