Description
The GMC 2½ ton 6x6 truck was produced in vast numbers and became the backbone of U.S. Army logistics during World War II. Its rugged construction, six-wheel drive and effective suspension provided excellent off-road performance.

Built in numerous configurations, the GMC played a vital role during and after the Normandy landings, transporting enormous quantities of troops, supplies and equipment essential to Allied operations.
