Description
The T-34 is one of the most famous tanks of World War II and formed the backbone of the Soviet armored forces. Its sloped frontal armor and wide tracks provided outstanding protection and mobility, making it highly effective on all types of terrain.

In 1943, the design was upgraded with a completely new turret mounting a powerful long-barrel 85 mm gun. The T-34/85, including those built at Zavod 112, enabled Soviet forces to effectively counter advanced German tanks such as the Tiger and Panther. In 1944, it played a key role in the Red Army’s advance toward Central Europe.
