Description
At the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the most visually striking Porsche 917Ks was car #18 entered by AAW Racing, run by the Finnish Antti Aarnio-Wihuri team and sponsored by Sandeman. Driven by David Piper and Gijs van Lennep, the car retired after an accident and damage caused by a puncture, but its elegant livery became truly iconic.
