Description
While trials on the Polish front confirmed the success of the Volkswagen Type 82 Kübelwagen and led to its mass production, engineer Ferdinand Porsche also developed an amphibious version to expand its operational capabilities.

Although the Kübelwagen’s light weight provided excellent off-road performance, reconnaissance and liaison missions frequently encountered water obstacles that were difficult to cross. The Schwimmwagen addressed this limitation by enabling amphibious operations, allowing units to traverse rivers and streams. This versatile vehicle became a valuable asset for German forces. The kit includes the vehicle and three figures.
