Description

The Land Rover Series III 109 is one of the most iconic off-road vehicles of the post-war era and a true symbol of British engineering. First developed in 1947, the Land Rover quickly became famous for its 4x4 drivetrain, rugged construction, and exceptional reliability in harsh environments.

Introduced in 1971, the Series III continued this legacy and was produced in over one million units. Its aluminium bodywork made it lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and extremely durable. This kit depicts a vehicle used by the Spanish Guardia Civil, where the Land Rover served in patrol, security, and off-road operations. In Spain, the vehicle was also manufactured under licence by Santana Motor.
