Description
Honda made its Formula One debut in 1964 with the RA271, featuring a transversely mounted 1.5-liter V12 engine. The following year, the RA272 delivered Honda’s first F1 victory in the hands of Richie Ginther. With the introduction of the new 3-liter regulations, the RA273 was unveiled at the 1966 Italian Grand Prix.
The Honda RA273 featured a lightweight aluminum monocoque chassis and a powerful 90-degree V12 engine. It was driven by Richie Ginther and Ronnie Bucknum, before John Surtees took over in early 1967, securing a podium finish at the South African Grand Prix.
This 1:12 scale model kit provides an exceptionally accurate representation of Honda’s 1960s Formula One engineering, with outstanding engine, suspension and cockpit detail.
