Description
After winning the 500cc World Championship in 1983, Honda continued to push technical boundaries with the Honda NSR 500, powered by its first single-crankshaft V4 two-stroke engine. Introduced in 1984 and raced by Freddie Spencer, this machine became a milestone in Grand Prix racing.
This Tamiya 1:12 scale model kit beautifully recreates the perfectly balanced form of the NSR 500. The distinctive layout, with expansion chambers mounted above the engine and the fuel tank positioned below, is accurately reproduced. All four expansion chambers and silencers feature outstanding detail. After assembly, the upper, lower, and seat cowlings can be removed, as well as the screw-mounted fuel tank. Vinyl tubing, a metal rear suspension spring, a display stand, and an illustrated booklet with photos and background information complete this exceptional kit.
