Description
During the 1991 Gulf War, the Iraqi Army deployed an upgraded version of the T-55 tank. This distinctive variant featured additional armor blocks attached to the turret and hull to improve protection. Lacking an official designation, Coalition forces nicknamed it “Enigma.” Several examples were captured during the conflict.
