Description
The Tornado IDS (Interdictor/Strike) is a multirole combat aircraft developed through a joint program between Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom. Designed for low-level supersonic attack missions, it features variable-geometry wings and advanced terrain-following capability.

The IDS was the first operational version of the Tornado and proved highly effective in various operational theaters. The basic design later led to specialized variants, including electronic warfare and reconnaissance versions.
