The Trabant 601, commonly known as the Trabi, is one of the most iconic vehicles ever produced in East Germany. With more than 2.8 million examples built, it became a symbol of everyday life behind the Iron Curtain and later one of the most recognizable images associated with the fall of the Berlin Wall.

This kit represents the most common limousine version of the Trabant 601 produced during the second half of the 1980s. In addition to serving as a civilian passenger car, the Trabant was also widely used in rally competitions throughout East Germany and other Eastern Bloc countries.

The kit includes four colorful marking options representing rally cars that participated in events between 1987 and 1989.
