Following World War II, Citroën developed the famous Type H range of utility vehicles. Thanks to its distinctive corrugated body panels, practical layout, and unique appearance, the Type H became one of the most recognizable French commercial vehicles ever produced.

This kit represents a Citroën Type HY manufactured between 1964 and 1969, featuring the single-piece windscreen, short grille chevrons, vertical sliding-door handle, and square rear window.

The included decals allow the modeler to build colorful public service vehicles used by firefighters, police, civil defense organizations, and postal services.
