Description
The Cutty Sark is one of the most famous tea clippers in maritime history. Launched in 1869 in Scotland, it was renowned for its speed and elegant design.
Built using a composite structure of iron framing and wooden planking, it could reach speeds of over 17 knots. Today, it is preserved in Greenwich as the last surviving clipper ship.
