Description
The M4 Sherman was the most widely produced and deployed Allied tank of World War II and formed the backbone of U.S. armored forces. Throughout the conflict, the Sherman underwent continuous development to improve its battlefield effectiveness.

Late in 1944, the M4A3E8, known as the “Easy Eight”, entered service. This version featured the high-velocity 76 mm M1 gun and the new HVSS suspension system, which significantly improved mobility, stability, and overall driving performance. The Easy Eight saw action in the final stages of World War II and later during the Korean War. Its distinctive appearance made it famous to a wider audience under the nickname “Fury.”
