Description
The Yamaha FZR750R (OW01) was the street-legal homologation model of the legendary YZF750 race bike, built specifically to meet Superbike World Championship regulations. It featured a 4-stroke DOHC 4-cylinder engine with 5 valves per cylinder, titanium connecting rods and enlarged exhaust ports. Combined with its aluminum Deltabox frame and race-spec suspension, the OW01 became renowned for precise handling and high-performance capability. Only 1,000 units were produced, making it a coveted collector’s machine.

This Tamiya 1/12 scale model faithfully recreates the OW01 with accurately molded cowling parts, realistic engine detail and functional assembly features. The cowlings are molded in two clear parts—just like the real motorcycle—and are fastened using small screws. Vinyl tubing replicates ignition and brake lines, while the synthetic rubber tires feature authentic tread patterns. High-quality Cartograf decals complete this exceptional kit.
